The book is a friendly, hands-on manual covering the day-to-day practices, equipment, and tricks of the trade essential to anyone doing motion picture lighting, including the lamp operator, rigging crew, gaffer, best boy, or director of photography. This handbook offers a wealth of practical technical information, useful techniques, as well as aesthetic discussions.
It is written by our friend and colleague Harry Box and is hands-down the best edition yet. This time Harry includes tons of new and updated information including dimmable fluorescent systems like our xFlo and PowrFlo. This edition adds the long awaited LED section covering our own LED LiteRibbon™ and…….. leds from those other guys. Just kidding. I am off to read my copy now
